If you read one thing
Atheron Barometer publishes market readings we calculate ourselves: an expected volatility forecast and stablecoin supply and flows. You may read them on this site and use them in your own work. Using them through the API also follows the developer terms. The readings are information, not advice: they can be wrong, and you decide what to do with them. The law of British Columbia, Canada applies.

01Who this agreement is with
Atheron Barometer is a service of Atheron Network Inc. ("we"). These terms apply to anyone who uses this website or the Barometer feeds ("you"). If you use them for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it, and "you" includes it.
The acceptable use policy and the privacy notice are part of these terms. When you use the feeds through the API, the [developer terms](https://developers.aton-network.org/legal/developer-terms) and the [data use policy](https://developers.aton-network.org/legal/data-use-policy) apply too. If they conflict with these terms on the API, the developer terms win.
02What Atheron Barometer is
Atheron Barometer publishes two feeds. Expected Volatility is our forecast of how much crypto asset prices may move over the next 30 days, calculated from our own price history by the method on our method page. Stablecoin Supply and Flows is the supply of certain stablecoins as their token contracts report it, and how it changes.
Until a feed publishes, the charts on this site show sample data, and they say so.
03Information, not advice
The readings are general market information. They are not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. A forecast says how much prices may move, never which way, and it can be wrong, most of all when markets change suddenly. Past readings do not predict future ones.
You are responsible for your own decisions and for checking the readings before you rely on them.
04What you may do with the readings
You may view the readings on this site, and use them in your own analysis, research and products for your own purposes. When you show a reading to others, name Atheron Barometer as its source.
You may not resell the readings, republish them as a feed or dataset of your own, or offer them to others as a substitute for Atheron Barometer, unless we agree to it in writing. The API's limits on storing and passing on data are in the developer terms.
The method, the software and the website are ours. Using them does not give you any right to our names, logos or trademarks.
05The API and your keys
API access is through the Atheron developer portal at developers.aton-network.org, with an Atheron account. Keep your sign-in and your keys safe: anything done with them is treated as done by you. Tell us at once at security@aton-network.org if you think a key has leaked, and revoke it in the developer portal.
Before you get production keys we check your identity, or your business, through our verification provider, as the developer terms say. We may refuse or stop access for anyone we cannot verify.
Each plan has limits on how many calls you may make. Calls past a limit may be refused.
06Plans and payment
Paid plans are not on sale yet, and nothing is charged today. When they open, their prices, what each includes, and how billing works will be published before anyone is asked to pay, in Canadian dollars wherever you are. These terms will then be updated with the payment details.
07Availability and changes
We work to keep Atheron Barometer available and up to date. We do not promise that it is uninterrupted, that every reading arrives on time, or that it is free of errors. A reading can be late, missing or corrected afterwards.
We may improve the feeds and the method. A change to the method gets a new version, named in every reading, and a note in the docs before it applies. If we remove a feed or a field you use through the API, we tell you at least 30 days before, unless the law or a security issue requires it sooner.
08Suspension and ending
You may stop using Atheron Barometer at any time, and close your API access in the developer portal. We may suspend or end your access at once if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, the acceptable use policy or the developer terms, or if the law requires it.
09Liability
As far as the law allows: the readings are provided as they are, without any promise that they are accurate, complete or fit for your purpose; we are not liable for trading or investment losses, lost earnings, decisions made on the readings, or indirect losses; and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months, or C$140 if more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
You are responsible to us, and will cover our reasonable costs, for claims from others that arise from your use of the readings or your breach of these terms or of the law.
10Changes to these terms
We publish a new version of these terms with its date at the top, and earlier versions stay readable on this page. For a change that affects API users materially we email them at least 30 days before it applies. Using Atheron Barometer after that date means you accept the new version.
11Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes are heard by the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless the law where you are gives you the right to go to your own courts.
